Super cute Halloween cookies made by one participant...
Here I am today to share the pictures of the two cookie decoration workshops that I hosted last week for Niki's Kitchen, with guest instructor Chikako Yamamoto of DDBistro.
Chikako and I worked to provide our participants the best possible experience, and I am glad to report that everyone seemed really happy with their creations.
I served an Autumn themed lunched using local and seasonal ingredients such as pumpkin, carrots, beetroot and chestnut. On the menu was a pumpkin soup with a twist - the recipe involved coconut milk and curry powder, it was delicious, a pumpkin pie with blue cheese, a beetroot salad with feta cheese and walnuts and I made Mont-Blanc desserts. I also served a homemade grenadine sirup. It was a rich lunch, but after spending a few hours decorating their sets of cookies, everyone was happy to share this meal and chat!
