Une Semaine Parisienne with Sophie et Chocolat {Tokyo}

Last Friday evening I attended the reception party of the event organised by Sophie et Chocolat, called Une Semaine Parisienne, for which I created a capsule collection of embroidered accessories. It takes place at Gallery Speak For, a stunning space in the heart of Daikanyama (a trendy neighbourhood of Tokyo). Other artists involved in the exhibition were photographer Asako Ogura, Bon Cadeaux (party goods & stationery shop in Ebisu), joy! (cake brooches), Helmetunderground & Riko (illustration)...

The three photos below are of the pieces I created for this event: sets or earrings with matching pouches 'oui ou non'?, necklaces made of leather and embroidered with sequins, butterfly brooches with matching pouches, and a net shopper bag with embroidery on leather.

Happy photos with Kyoko-san (left) and Chieko-san (right),
the duo behind Sophie et Chocolat!

Make sure to check out this event, taking place at Gallery Speak For in Tokyo!

I have created a capsule collection of embroidered accessories for this event including earrings, brooches, necklaces and bags. All available in limited quantities and while stock last. Sophie et Chocolat have created matching pouches for each piece, it's been a fantastic collaboration once again!
I will share more photos of my working progress as well as photos of the actual pieces tomorrow.

Also next week I will tell the story of my week in Paris, from Monday to Sunday, with loads of pictures and great spots to check out when you will visit next time. Stay tuned!

Summer Party Styling

Can you believe that in our part of the world, summer is nearly over? My grand-ma who is 101 years old has a saying that goes like this "Tout ce qui finit est court" (which means that "Everything coming to an end seems short"). Well, it's true!

So before starting to think about Autumn celebration and Christmas parties, let's enjoy this summer a little bit more and why not throw one last party? Here below is something I had created in July and haven't shared on the blog yet. I am sharing all my sources at the end of this post.
