Work in progress

I am currently working on my three "color candy" bags, and I am enjoying it a lot! I have almost completed the embroideries of two out of three bags. I am missing some lining and pom pom though and the bags won't be finished before I get my hands on them.
A trip to Chinatown is planned this week as well to source some material for a new top secret project :)

I will keep you posted of course!

My first Etsy treasury - Old School

Today I completed and posted my first Treasury list on Etsy! A Treasury is, as Etsy puts it, an ever changing, member-curated shopping gallery. It's a bit like a collage of your favorite things on Etsy following a theme that you choose. Here below are some pictures of what I have chosen to illustrate my theme: "Old School"

It is actually not as easy but not as hard as I had imagined... I guess some days you find it easier to pull photos of things you like together than other days...

Anyways back to my Treasury, I called it "Old School" as a reference to the end of the summer school holidays and the nostalgia and excitement I feel every year when September is around the corner. I remember as a little girl longing for school to start again as it meant getting new furnitures, meeting my friends and starting a brand new year. To me the year was in fact starting in September and not so much in January...

Edit 02.09.2010

I found out how to capture the screen and I will be able from now on to show you the entire treasury. Here is how it looked like:

MOOD {Aqua Blue Pink}

I am actually not very sure if the pink works well here... my first impulsion was to add some nice pumpkin or peach sequin trim... but since I had none at home, I ended up with that pink.
Your thoughts?

On my desk today...

I have started working on products for my Christmas line. This is one of the color palette I am going to develop. I love gold tones and play with contrast {matte-shiny}.

Mum and the city

Once upon a time was a pretty girl living in Paris where she was studying fashion design and eventually became a talented stylist.
She then got married (and she was a gorgeous bride, believe me) and soon after little Anouk was born. My darling friend soon enough realized that juggling work (in a big city like Paris), family and couple life with STYLE was a challenge big enough to start a blog and share with the rest of us her experiences, her doubts, her style and decorationg secrets.

I am happy to introduce you to Mum and the City blog!

Elisa makes very comfy and cute pair of leggings. To discover on her blog as well!

I am so glad I can follow some of my friends through their blogs :)
